Falcor Tasting Salon

Falcor has opened up a new 12,000 sq. ft winery and tasting salon in Southern Napa Valley; located just down the street from the Napa Grape Crusher statue and the Meritage Resort. We’re open 7 days a week from 10-5, we prefer that you make an appointment but will gladly accommodate walk-ins at our tasting bar.

We also offer food and wine pairing’s for $75/person, these are five food items prepared by our Chef, Chay Woerz, paired with five of our ultra-premium wines (requires 48hrs notice and 4 person minimum).

We are also happy to host your private events, dinners, lunches, parties or meetings. We can accommodate up to 120 people in our cellar, and comfortably sit 16 in our private tasting room. Advanced notice and a contract required for all lunches and dinners, there is a 4 person minimum, but we'd prefer groups of 6 or more.

Chef prepared passed in-house smoked salmon mousse crostini

2009 Trousseau Gris (Sonoma Valley)

Trousseau Gris was originally traced back to the Alsace-Lorraine Region in Northern France. It has a crisp, clean, flowery bouquet with flavors of fresh peaches, honeysuckle, pear, melon, delicate spice and tropical fruit flavors.

First Course

Chardonnay poached Bosc pear with baby greens, sprinkled Point Reyes blue cheese and candy dusted chopped walnuts with a champagne shallot vinaigrette

2006 Durell Vineyards Chardonnay (Sonoma)

Full bodied and barrel fermented in the Burgundy style with grapes from the famed Durell vineyard in Sonoma. Focused and complex, it displays the cool climate nuances of ripe pear, apple, and spice, along with a tropical fruit and this vineyards signature minerality.

Entrée

Red wine braised short ribs, horseradish mashed potatoes, pan-roasted root vegetables and Cabernet reduction

2005 Le Bijou (Napa Valley)

Le Bijou “the jewel” in French is an elegant Bordeaux-style blend of 41% Cabernet Franc, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, and 4% Petite Verdot. Opening with rich aromas of tobacco, cassis, cedar, and dusty earth, this wine is loaded with opulent blackberry and blueberry fruit, and balanced by sweet tannins and subtle new oak.

2006 Dry Creek Zinfandel (Sonoma)

Our 2006 Zinfandel was produced from old vines in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. It opens on the palate with rich flavors of spicy black fruit, and through its long, focused finish this Zinfandel reveals characteristics of vanilla, clove, and dark chocolate.
